I saw her previous special from 2017 and she had a few laughs, but I wasn't all that impressed either.

The new one was very good.

Upon further investigation, apparently she's married to Tom Segura. He's one of the Top 5 comedians rolling right now.......so maybe the two of them worked together to tighten up her act?

I can tell these people talk with each other because they'll often have the very same subject, but with their own unique take on it. She and Tom both mentioned being fat or dieting and brought up Bert Kreischer/Brent Crystal's name.
