This is just my scientific opinion........ every fetus is a potential viable human being.

On the one hand, I have no issues killing every last one of them.......but I'm in the minority not having a problem just admitting it for what it is.

On the other hand, I can certainly see where a lot of people still view it as barbaric .......especially if it isn't done as quickly as possible. Even those without a religious bend to them.

While I was running an errand tonite, the talk show put out a Stat........less than 50% of abortions are currently done surgically? That's sorta good news, right? It means those options in pill form are being put to use early.

I still believe it should be a legal option available out there somewhere..........but if all 50 don't agree, then so be it. Abortion Tourism it is. This might make people even more vigilant about having their products in hand, just in case.

They want the morning after pill banned.
They want birth control banned.
Its coming back to life starts at fertilization when the fetus is like 6 cells.

And I am not a Bible thumper.     a friend of mine's wife changed her opinion on the matter after she got pregnant and saw the ultrasounds. 

I honestly thought the religious reasons would die off years ago..........but I don't think it's all that anymore.

You're talking the most extreme examples...... there are extremes all over. Do we often listen to them? Heck, these days anything right of Center is being called 'extreme'.

Informal Petition to Call all "Pro-Life" folks "Forced Birthers"
My wife and I talk about this every so often and wonder why more people don't call them this. Everyone knows they don't give a shit about actual life; they just want to be soooo protective of the clump of cells that make a fetus. As soon as the fetus becomes a born baby, they couldn't possibly give less of a damn about its welfare or that of the parent's.

So what they really are is someone who forces people to give birth. They're Forced Birthers. Wanting other people to have a happy and healthy life means nothing to them; that's not their actual goal. It's about the principle of ensuring every possible opportunity for birth is achieved to completion, whatever that outcome may be for the baby or the parent.

"Anti-choice" is fine, but I have already seen people sling that back at us, especially during covid. I saw nutbags use the phrase "my body, my choice" as a way of protesting the covid vaccine. Naturally, those are not even remotely the same, but that doesn't matter to them. They wanted their clever "gotcha" moment.

So I propose that we called them what they really are: Forced Birthers. The quality of life of the child is irrelevant, the circumstance that led to the pregnancy is completely irrelevant to them; all they want is to force the birth to completion. Forced Birthers.

Identity of the father
Medina has never revealed the identity of the father nor the circumstances of her impregnation. Escomel suggests that she might not know herself, as she "couldn't give precise responses". Lina's father was arrested on suspicion of child sexual abuse but released due to lack of evidence.Her son grew up healthy. He died in 1979 at the age of 40 from bone marrow disease.

Later life
In young adulthood, Medina worked as a secretary in the Lima clinic of Lozada, which gave her an education and helped put her son through high school. She married and had a second son in 1972. In 2002, she refused an interview with Reuters, just as she had turned away many reporters in years past.

Documentation
Although it was speculated that the case was a hoax, a number of doctors over the years have verified it based on biopsies, X rays of the fetal skeleton in utero, and photographs taken by the doctors caring for her.

There are two published photographs documenting the case. The first was taken around the beginning of April 1939, when Medina was seven and a half months into pregnancy. Taken from her left side, it shows her standing naked in front of a neutral backdrop. It is the only published photograph taken during her pregnancy.

In 1955, except for the effects of precocious puberty, there was no explanation of how a girl less than five years old could conceive a child. Hers is a rare, well-documented case of extreme precocious pregnancy in a child under six
