Can't you get hold of any where you live?

Can't you get hold of any where you live? Sometimes you can come across some cheddar or monteray jack. You can always find packaged slices and some shredded "mozzarella" but real cheese? Not so much and when you do, it's expensive.

I've seen an aging Asian Doctor from time to time, who found dairy products in general disgusting. I didn't have the heart to tell him I found most seafood equally disgusting.

I used to think, like strip malls, that most of the US was sort of a copycat of stores and supplies, especially in grocery stores.
But then a GF moved from here to Virginia Beach and discovered that not only could she not find bratwurst, they'd never heard of it. Cheese products were also a problem.

It's a similar case here in Australia... or at least it used to be. There were noticeable differences in what you could get in different states. Many brands were universal, but there were also some that weren't.

mmmmm brats....
Back home, my friend Larry hosted an annual summer party he called, "Sausage Fest."
The only meat allowed was sausages... brats... chouriso... Italian... etc. and all the guests were male. We'd pitch horseshoes, play poker, drink, smoke, fart, and tell all the dirty jokes our wives/girlfriends would never have approved of.
And that party became popular. It started off with just about 8 guys, and by the last one that I went to, it was around 30 guys. There were about 5 grills going and we had a great time.

Great movie!
I don't know if I'd ever hear about that lactose intolerance before.....but it makes sense to me diet-wise.
Then this morning I'm rewatching a stand up bit from Rob Schneider and he shouts at the young people "I'm 50 people! If I wanna get F'd up these days? I eat some cheese."

www.mdpi.com/2072-6643/14/14/2936Are they playing us? "Yes, fat Americans! Eat cheese! It is good for you!" ("Hahaha. Die! Die!") I mean, American dieticians have told us it will clog the arteries.

Totally worth it.
I'll be grilling up some cheddar brats in the next day or so
