I thought about that suggestion myself..........then decided F Title IX. Let's just go with Sports.
Either you're good enough to make the finite amount of openings on the team, or you're not. Too bad, so sad.
That's pretty much how the rest of the real world works, anyway. Even though I loved sports in school, I never stopped viewing it as extra-curricular. As in NOT necessary. A benefit or perk which should be the first thing cut in tight times.

1. So... no delineations at all?
2. I'm all for cutting interscholastic sports spending until such time that our students are regularly kicking the asses of the Asians and Scandinavians in testing.

1. Yep. That'll show everyone just how entitled they've become. Can you imagine a one room schoolhouse back in the days out West and some kid exclaiming "But I wanted to be on a swim team! Where's the pool?!"
2. We really should have some form of a LARGER like button. And I'm not being nearly as harsh as you......kicking as isn't necessary, but keeping up with would be nice.
Though, I gotta figure our odd obsession with Special Ed is likely harming our budgets and numbers, as well.
