The Wrestler (2008)

I'm not a fan of wrestling. I'm not even really a fan of Mickey Rourke. But I am a fan of The Critical Drinker and he said that this was a good movie, so I watched it.

TBH, I was really only watching it for Marisa Tomei topless, but GAWD DAYUM, it's a really good flick. Mickey Rourke seems to have won every major award for Best Actor except the Oscar, but he was up against Sean Penn playing an important gay man and we know how the Oscars value The Message above all so...

I'll give it 4 and 1/2 stars out of 5

Pam is a topless dancer at a bar in NJ that serves alcohol. However, in NJ, if a bar serves alcohol, the dancers must be clothed in at least a G-String and pasties and it's called a "Go-Go Bar". If a bar does not serve alcohol, the dancers can be nude.

Now you just try to tell me you don't think there's sometimes wayyyyyyyy too much Govt out there?

1. Yup. He's an excellent movie and pop culture reviewer. I think you'd like him. SJWs hate him.

2. As for NJ's strip club laws, I'm aware of them. I lived in NJ for about 9 years and might have wandered into one or two. You spend some time drinking beers from a cooler in your trunk before you go in. I wouldn't call it a "goof" so much as dismissing state law peculiarities for the sake of some skin. I'm happy they did.

3. I'm going to guess that "too much govt" in this instance is referring to a particular law that you don't like as opposed to "govt being too large" because the same number of state legislators required to repeal the law would be the same as the number needed to enact it.

2. Hollywood is very funny like that......which makes the whole faux outrage over the casting couch and #MeToo all the more funny. Even my Yahoo! feed is hilarious for the amount of articles against sexual exploitation, followed by headlines and Ads that actively engage in it.

3. Hey, all adults voluntarily participating in club activities like alcohol consumption and nude dancing. No need for any more very odd restrictions about pasties and whether the pubis is exposed, imho
