Those guys are lucky they had a basket. The guys who clean the windows of my building work "genii." That is that they are lowered over the side of the building, sitting on a wood plank attached to a rope. That's it. Fresh buckets of soapy water are lowered down to them. The men never get hauled up, only lowered. I did a little window cleaning in my youth, although I doubt any of them were over 20 stories... and you can shove that idea where the sun don't shine.  |
