I never understood all the hate for Dune.........it's perfectly fine......just didn't do well when it first came out.
And Road House was one we watched just to mock the dialogue. ("Thought you'd be bigger.")
My wife likes Xanadu, mostly for the music.
And Showgirls sorta made whats-her-faces short lived career. Before celebs decided putting out porn tapes was a better idea.

There are extended fan cuts of DUNE on YouTube that really bring a new feel to the film... good stuff. Yes, I first saw XANADU in the cinema as a 12 year-old. I loved the music and developed a huge crush on ONJ... She basically became the default model for women I like...  |
