I think I dropped out after season 3 or 4... whenever it was they tried to run a concurrent spinoff.

I love Spader and the very first scene in the very first episode had me hooked:



But I've hated "Elizabeth Keene" from the get-go... and her "husband" so I finally just got fed up.

I think it was finally the absolute perfect role for Spader. I couldn't imagine anyone pulling it off better and he went from the endless parts of a smug and annoying dick..........to a smug and lovable anti-hero.

It took me a bit longer to despise Keen........but Jesus! Those last few seasons were tough.

They ended the previous season with an animated episode to cover for covid. Then revived it this year to wrap things up.

The biggest spoiler was never openly exposed........ just heavily suggested.
