The National Archives Records Administration placed a “harmful content” warning on the Constitution, labeling the governing document of the United States as “harmful or difficult to view.” The warning applies to all documents across the Archives’ cataloged website, including the Bill of Rights and the Declaration of Independence.
“NARA’s records span the history of the United States, and it is our charge to preserve and make available these historical records,” the administration said in a statement. “As a result, some of the materials presented here may reflect outdated, biased, offensive, and possibly violent views and opinions. In addition, some of the materials may relate to violent or graphic events and are preserved for their historical significance.” In June, the National Archives’ racism task force claimed that the Archives’ rotunda, which houses founding documents, is an example of “structural racism.” The task force also pushed to include trigger warnings around displays of the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights, which are all in the rotunda.thefederalist.com/2021/09/08/national-archives-issues-harmful-content-warning-on-constitution-all-other-founding-documents/?force_isolation=truecatalog.archives.gov/#fireglass_params&tabid=af5335a165f7f696&application_server_address=fgprodtie6-vkl.safebrowse.co.il&popup=true&is_right_side_popup=false&start_with_session_counter=1

“Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right.”

They're rewriting meanings, accounts and history itself. 1619? etc etc
And this party is always right, according to them. No matter how often they've clearly been wrong.

Really? While silly, all they're doing is saying that overly sensitive SJW might be "triggered" by reading some old documents due to content written under different social conditions and with different social understandings.
The explanation isn't silly. The fact that they feel they have to do it is.
History isn't being rewritten. It's being contextualized... much in the same way that you might explain wording in an old document: "You have to remember when it was written and people had different ideas then...."
You and I might see that as self-evident, but some people need warnings not to use electrical devices in the shower, so....

That's the truly scary part to me.
We're being had by those in power with the excuse being for the good of all, to include those showering electrical types.

Weird how you've often mentioned that the US is getting it's lunch eaten by China.........but then insist the US isn't being sold out by it's Govt.

How is putting a "trigger warning" on a web page to sooth the nerves of some SJW pussies = "being sold out by the government"?
What universe are you living in?
