HBO isn't starting from the beginning from the Targaryen dynasty, but instead from the most interesting conflict in their history. Good choice, it is more suited to tv adaptation. It has some odd casting choices already, but the oddest is the starring actor. A former Doctor Who. Thanks a lot, Ant Mac.

Considering everything that Matt Smith has touched since he left DW seems to have turned to shit, I wouldn't hold out too much hope for this latest venture.

I don't have much hope either. It already looks like they're changing too much. Mayhaps a good trailer will make things right.

Well, he had a brief scene in TERMINATOR: GENESYS, which would've been expanded upon in the planned follow-up sequels... but they were cancelled. And then he was supposed to be in STAR WARS: EPISODE IX – THE RISE OF SKYWALKER, but apparently his scenes were cut and the film turned out to be complete garbage in any case... Meanwhile, Karen Gillan, the actress who played his companion, Amy Pond, is going great.

Daemon Targaryen is a BAMF, with one of the coolest -- can't think of one cooler -- fight scenes to ever grace the pages of literature. If only the showrunners don't fook it up.
