I had one mom call to stop her address being used & the client still kept trying to use it & busy officers kept changing the client's address without reading the note not to accept that address.

When I moved I had the damned post office return my mail yet I am getting all this other mail? 
I have 3 banks (pension, pension, social security) I was able to change my banks with a verbal in person request,  but I had to have a piece of mail in my name at the new address to change the Credit Union.

Believe it or not........ I caught that part about the translator the first time.    And again, what difference does it make if I feel it's all a moot point anyway? Why not bring up a tan suit that I don't care about ,too?

Local or Federal, for them to provide with the requested forms/info in a timely manner. They know who you are and where you are. THAT's part of what makes 30 Million Illegals so fricken ridiculous. Snowden could probably tell us all even more about what they get up to. Do you feel confident that Facebook, Google, Microsoft, Apple and all the rest are guarding your privacy? I do not.....and the Govt oversees it all with approval.

I just am impressed that he actually delivered on so many things that I have expected from so-called conservatives for years. What's hard to understand about that? I do. I told you I've received mail for over a dozen people myself. It's just another reason I support cleaning up voter roles and demanding ID. Your party is doing everything it can to keep these elections highly questionable.........all under the cover of opposing racism/voter suppression.

The man who has been dead 20 years so has never lived here. 
I called to find out how they got his name.
Oh, it was just marketing.
To a dead guy.

AND another insurance offer for one of the other people.

BUT tell me how efficient businesses are again

You're comparing hundreds or thousands of companies that are trying to make a buck and NOT costing you a thing........to ONE Govt that matches or surpasses all of them and wastes all of our money in the process.

Truly inefficient business fail and go out of business. This Govt is still around despite all of the misdeeds and corruption

I'd expect San Diego to be a bit nicer than LA or San Fran. Less riff raff allowed. How's Oakland these days?

And that's sorta what Chicago always says about it's Southside neighborhood. Yet somehow it never gets better despite all of the wonderful things in the rest of 2nd City? It's akin to Wisconsin's capitol on the hill Madison being the pretty twin sister of Killwaukee.

It wasn't finished. They didn't bother painting a bunch of it. And I'd guess they're not spending a dime maintaining it.

My husband was from the Bay Area.
His father moved his mother from that area to Anaheim (Orange County) because the kids all lived in the Bay area & kept dragging the mom into crap, but then his dad died not long after.

He kept talking of moving to the Bay area but I said hell no. I'm SoCal.
When we first went to Hayward for a visit, around 84 or so, he informed me Oakland had always been a bad place full of Jungle Bunnies (or did he say jiggaboos? He was racist in so many ways but thought he wasn't because he got along with most of his black co-workers. But the derogatory slang terms flowed off his tongue with ease, particularly when angry).

So I never visited Oakland.

But when we visited Frisco, I hated it. Everyone seemed so pretentious.

San Diego when I moved here was a sleepy little military town. The biggest political line was "stop the losangelesation of San Diego." That was Roger Hedgecock's campaign promise running for mayor.

So we are a big town, with big town desires in some respects, yet we see ourselves as a small sleepy military town in others.

This is easy because we are a city separated by canyons

The city lies on approximately 200 deep canyons and hills separating its mesas, creating small pockets of natural open space scattered throughout the city and giving it a hilly geography. Traditionally, San Diegans have built their homes and businesses on the mesas, while leaving the urban canyons relatively wild. So particularly north of Mission Valley there are spaces/canyons splitting Clairemont from Mira Mesa & that from Penasquitos, etc.

Which allows San Diegans to feel like they live in a smaller city than they do & definitely not the jammed together feel of Orange County where driving down a road one can pass several signs informing one that one has entered Stanton or Westminster or Anaheim, etc.

This is also the problem for Frisco
It is surrounded by cities like Oakland or places like the bay so it has no room to expand larger.

Which is why population wise, it's
1-Los Angeles
2-San Diego
3-San Jose
4-San Francisco


But Frisco & LA get more press than we do.

The section in question was in Arizona.

Construction of the Trump wall cut through a migration corridor for the jaguar. It will likely stop the migration of jaguars and other animals between Mexico and the US. From late 2019 onwards, massive amounts of water have been pumped from the aquifer for the wall's construction, causing likely permanent damage to the natural water flow in the area. Declassified emails released in mid 2020, dating back to the beginning of the wall's construction in fall 2019, found that water extraction for the wall drained several of the refuge's crucial artesian wells, forcing evacuations of the endangered fish in them. Large-capacity water pumps had to be purchased and installed in order to mimic the natural pond outflow lost by the water extraction. Refuge manager Bill Radke has referred to the wall's construction as the “current greatest threat to endangered species in the southwest region”.
