Shortly after Jeff Bezos — the world's richest man — completed his first spaceflight, Rep. Earl Blumenauer (D., Oreg.) announced he's working on a plan for a new tax targeting space tourism.
The Securing Protections Against Carbon Emissions (SPACE) Tax Act would create new excise taxes on commercial space flights with human passengers for non-research purposes.

I can't believe how your kind phrased his Thanks to everyone that made him the wealthiest man on the planet as a horrible thing?
Do you believe only the Govt should be allowed to forcefully remove similar amounts of money from people to send a few select people into space?
If anything, shouldn't we ALL be more upset with that Govt since Musk and others are showing them up at their own game.......and doing it for $Billions less?
