I keep seeing adverts for VPNs. I'm almost tempted to try one out, but... But what?
I'm not sure that you have anything to hide. On the other hand, I have to have a VPN in order to know what's really going on in the world.
Actually, I was going to ask you about that... I'm sort of surprised in a way that VPNs are allowed inside China, considering their apparent support of the use of censorship. And you're quite right. I don't think I have anything of importance to hide. However, VPNs appear to be a useful tool for gaining access to internet content that is geo-blocked. |

VPNs definitely help with geo-blocking And VPNs aren't really allowed in China except in special circumstances and the cyber-squad is always looking for ways to block them. I suspect that the recent uptick in Covid cases and the impending Spring Festival holiday will have my VPN disrupted more often than not....
