Who's interested in doing a Zoom thread?
We get together in a Zoom conference and have a little conversation for an hour or so.
We can choose a topic ahead of time or just go with the flow.
If you're shy or - god forbid - uglier than me, you can go with just audio. No worries.
Once we have an interested group we can find a time that's amenable to all time zones.
Chime in before the 11th.

It felt weird having a face-to-face after all this social distancing and self isolation, but next time I'm going to make sure I have a good supply of tea, coffee, apple juice... and maybe a HLL too... it's important to keep one's throat well lubricated.  However, based on yesterday, do you really think a hour or so will be enough? And as we discovered, if anyone's shy, all they need to do is switch the light off.  |

abbey1227, is certainly still invited and 8 PM my time makes it 7 AM (I think) for Abs... another reason to have it be Sunday evening for us. |

I already keep irregular hours, so I'm fine with 0030 hours if it helps to make this experiment go smoother for others. I've already taken steps to alter my current sleep pattern so it coincides better with the proposed timetable. If abbey1227, is interested, it should be easier for him with the new timetable, so all we have to do is wait for Prometheus, to chime in and let us know how he feels about it. |

ant-mac, abbey1227, papamihel, I'm good with 23:00. Sorry for forgetting about the Sunday to Thursday workweek, Papa. I do Wednesday to Sunday. Abs is Monday to Friday (I think), and Mac is just a slacker. Everyone go to zoom.us and sign up. Make sure your cameras and/or mics work and I'll send the conference number at 23:00 (my time) tomorrow via PM. We'll be working with multiple time zones and service providers so we have to remember there might be latency with the connections and that means lag so we'll have to make sure to give time after one person speaks before speaking. Mac and I talked over each other more than a few times.  Cool?
