Combined? No. But you understand my argument is simply that people can and do find a roommate/spouse. It's possible.
Let's focus on that word subsidize.........cuz you sure ignore it when it comes to welfare types or Planned Parenthood. But when my wife and I split our mutual bills 50/50........somehow that equates to me being subsidized?
Yes, dear. More than half at this point. Even corrupted Romney was just being truthful when he threw out that 47% years ago.
That's because it has gotten really, really sad, merh. Pathetic, even.
That's a great outlook...........until you realize you're vastly outnumbered by the takers
Your wife subsidizes you.
Yes.
Because that means you are paying half the bills someone else is paying the other half so it is $50,000. The cost you are flaunting is only half the bill.
If your house cost $200,000 it doesn't mean it's $100,000 because that's your half.
I have given you the original article so many times, it's not funny.
Mitt Romney got it from the Tax Policy website I have copy/pasted too damned many times to matter.
IT ISNT A CONSTANT 47%.
IT IS A ROTATION OF 3 YRS OR SO.
I disagree. I live on less than $25,000/yr. I choose to be in a marriage with someone else and they contribute the same amount to our mutual lifestyle choices. You, and anyone else can make the same choices whether it's a marriage, dating or simply roommates. For someone that refused to accept that Welfare subsidizes drug, alcohol and gambling addicts....... I don't get how you're believing my wife is somehow subsidizing me? Now, if she allowed me to retire as I've jokingly suggested, THEN she'd be subsidizing me.
IF I chose to go it completely alone.........then I'd have to find another place to live and get by on less in my life. The math is constant.
How many times have a voiced the opinion that there are choices to be made with your lifestyle? You CAN choose to live alone, but it usually makes more sense and is cheaper to live with at least one other person. What's preventing ANYONE from making those choices?
And I'm telling you that number has likely sailed past 47%. Just as the number of renters has finally tipped past the number of homeowners. You think that's a good sign of ANYTHING? To me it's a sign of lifelong dependence on others. Soon to be followed by calls for the Govt to protect them from rent increases.
I say there hasn't been a rotation........but a slide in one direction for many years now. You blame it on Wage Gaps and systemic issues........ I blame it on people and the choices they repeatedly make.
