Thanks for explaining salary caps. Brady and the Pats were a very unique situation. Best football coach of all time who knows how to win. Rodgers is more of a phenom talent whereas Brady was more like a Drew Brees who happened to never get hurt and fell in with the right crowd. Rodgers salary is not an issue. He's not the highest paid QB. In fact I don't think he's top 5. IDK why they felt the need to not bring in another alpha receiver after Adams left. Could be any number of reasons. And blaming players for injuries? lol. Are you for real? Can we get a troll check here? Anybody?
...Now it's Week 10 and they're dropping like flies because they're not in football shape yet. Spoken like someone who has never played anything more than a game of "touch."

Rodgers is a better QB than Favre was in terms of accuracy and smarts. Doesn't matter though cuz they've both repeated the same mistakes.
He may not be Top 5 at the moment, but that's because they keep upping the contracts on every starting QB. $50 Million isn't noteworthy?
Yeah, injuries are their fault when their union negotiated less practice time and contact. Now it's Week 10 and they're dropping like flies because they're not in football shape yet.
All you know how to do is blame the bottom level personnel and give the higher ups a pass. It's up to the GM and ownership to put together a title caliber team. Guys like Rodgers, Deshaun Watson, Kyler Murray, etc have every right to get every last dollar they can. This is capitalism, baby. It's all in the game.

No, it's not............ Because of the Salary cap and union involvement.
If it was like capitalism, then we'd have the New York Yankees style of taking the best and most expensive players from every team for our own.
The bottom level? The highest paid players in the league are bottom level? What about the poor other 52 guys? and the practice squad?
Lemme guess..........another in a long line of Tom Brady haters?
If it were true, evil capitalism.........the owners would fire every last union member, start all over and offer set salaries by position. Cuz WHERE ELSE are football players gonna make a $Million/year?

So fire all the union members? Even the ones that are stars and make more money for the franchise than they cost? Can you explain this in more depth?

Yes.
Fire everyone.
Hire only those willing to work for the set salary.
The talent level might suffer for the first year or three..........but again, where else are these athletes gonna go to make anywhere near that kinda money?
The NFL prides itself on parody.........this would bring about a lot of it. I thought the NFL Europe was just starting to become really enjoyable to watch when they scrapped it.

Probably to the next version of the NFL that understands that stars get paid big money. Once again I'm very happy you're not in charge of anything.

Can you find and compare the salaries being offered in 'the next version'?
