So that makes it all A-OK?
I remember some discussions with the Homeless Guy I've known for years about his EBT. It started out really high........but then they cut it down dramatically for some reason undisclosed. He went from over $200/mo to about $60?
Meanwhile I've had decades worth of watching people use EBT and never improve

Your politicians have likely been cutting it to discouraged people applying for it.

Not for the worst users involved, they haven't. Especially when offspring are involved in the equation

I told you I always found it so insane when people from the Midwest would call "is it true you get $$$ a month on welfare?" I would transfer them to welfare, but it made no sense. It is so much more expensive here than there. They didn't care.

A lot of homeless have health issues Not just mental health. The healthy village says that it is housing, medical & mental health so that is likely the point of the title.

That's because the typical person isn't very good with numbers. They don't think to connect the dots of money/income/welfare vs the actual cost of living.

I understand that.
I just don't believe getting them in better health is going to 'fix' them for the long term. It will keep them needing assistance for longer though........and THAT's probably the true goal here.

Plus they just figured they would get section 8 out here without realizing the wait was like 2 yrs to move up the list here. You wonder who is leaving California? People who have come here in the last couple decades

But in the long run its cheaper to hook them up to services. It is cheaper to pay for their housing than the drain they pit on the system using emergency services.

I would think it's people who got tired of being taken for too much

YES!
The local paper loves to print things about public info..........but it won't list the names and costs off people who are repeat customers to 911? That abuse the shit out of the system? That cost others people $Thousands in tax dollars every single year?

How much for a California worker to afford a two-bedroom apartment? They skipped that for some reason?
That's right.......they brought higher prices and more Govt with them. But you think she's learned that lesson yet? I doubt it.
