When I transferred to adult, my boss said "we aren't going after the guy shoplifting food for his family.
In the 20 yrs i worked adult, I never had a case of someone stealing food because they were hungry.
They stole because they needed money for their addiction. Usually drugs, but sometimes it was gambling at the local casinos

Sis saw something on Reddit about offering a homeless person $5 & getting told "that's not enough"

I usually do $1-3 & never have a problem. 
One time I saw 2 guys so I pulled out $4 to give each 2, bit the one guy vanished & the one that was left insisted on the whole $4, not just $2, but he's the only one. 
He was definitely mentally ill.

I appreciate the compliment, Abs, I really do. But despite my early academic success and contributions... life still happened.

But if America actually wanted to hear what I have to say... and were willing to pay me for it - chemo ain't cheap - then I'd come back. Moving to China was never about removing my ability to contribute from one place and giving it to another. It was just about survival.

But if America actually wanted to hear what I have to say... and were willing to pay me for it - chemo ain't cheap - then I'd come back. Moving to China was never about removing my ability to contribute from one place and giving it to another. It was just about survival.

And I've got no problem with steps taken to survive. Whatever worked best for you.......it's for you to decide.
