I find it kinda distasteful to get children involved in such complicated things at such young ages. I felt the same way about pushing religion onto them so hard. Politics today has become very cult-like here.
There is a feeling of not giving any single inch on this subject. They've gotten plenty of laws and regulations.......which they fail to enforce or just plain don't work as they claimed they would.
If I talked you into something with all sorts of promises.......and it never delivered as advertised........don't you think I should 1. ADMIT it didn't work. and then 2. Release you from that arrangement instead of doubling or tripling down at every new opportunity?

1. Like forcing them to endure mass shootings and die or watch their little friends die...? I agree. 2. As I've previously mentioned either here or elsewhere, I'm about better and stricter gun control. That doesn't necessarily mean banning guns - at least not all of them - or introducing new gun laws. Personally, I think the authorities start by enforcing the gun laws that already exist and see how that goes. 3. So will you be paying me full financial damages?  |
