Nobody is at the school today, they’ve been virtual for days. It’s the fourth consecutive day that they school has been targeted by a bomb threat. The school has been at the center of a controversy for two weeks after launching an investigation into students allegedly using non-preferred gender pronouns to refer to another student. The student allegedly prefers “they/them” pronouns. The district has filed a Title IX sexual harassment complaint against three middle school students in the case. Previous threats specifically mentioned the investigation. The city has canceled its Memorial Day parade, citing the security concerns.

The city canceled that parade........but I believe some private parties decided to do one on their own despite the city's hysterical cowardice.

Personally, I still have difficulty taking all this gender identity and personal pronoun business seriously... But if someone wants to identify as a man, a woman, a unicorn, or something else entirely, why should I care? And if someone else wishes to identify as someone who ignores other people's gender identities and personal pronouns, why should I care? The only personal pronouns that interest me are me, myself and I. |

California Man Arrested for Threatening to Kill Kiel School District Staff Member

KIEL, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A California man was arrested, accused of threatening to kill a staff member of the Kiel Area School District.
The 34-year-old Oceanside man was taken into custody Tuesday by FBI agents.
Police say the man’s threats are not related to the bomb threats the city’s schools and other buildings have recently received.
