This year I applied for and was granted permission to become a postal voter, because I'm a lazy fucker who doesn't want to stand in line to vote. Back in March I sent off my state election ballot unmarked because although I have to submit a state election ballot, I'm not legally required to fill it in and I sent off my federal election ballot yesterday... same deal. I also indicated on both forms that a witness was unavailable, which I hear automatically invalidates a ballot in any case. PS - I've been voting for over 30 years and I can't honestly say I've ever been satisfied with how any of my picks performed... so fuck the lot of them. |

Because insurance companies can't afford to pay out.
I've told you before, Abs: the government underwrites the underwriters. This comes up every time I explain the benefits of UHC: reduce what the government pays... because they are the ones insuring the hospitals and doctors get paid already. Why not just allow them to set the price so they don't have to spend as much?
