I used to put up a small tree tacked to the wall with a strong ribbon I have seen the upside down from the ceiling as well.
wow, my ceiling fan looks almost the same.
Why not just hang a poster of a christmas tree with plug in lights embedded in it?
What's the point if you can't even see it?
It is wild. I've seen behind bars/glass. The ceiling is inventive.

Poor kitties! I have one feral, Catarina, that REFUSES to come inside with the lazy-ass, entitled, spoiled housecats. Then the four in my bedroom haggle over snuggle rights with me, and the two in the living room practically Velcro themselves to me when I am out there. Being a kitty is tough. Us owners are Never Enough! Illy is a pampered housecat. Looks like a nebelung. Around 17 yrs old. Thor is an orange tabby Maine Coon I kittynapped from the back yard when he was 5 weeks old. So careful. Skittish. I keep telling him no one is going to eat him but he knows he is well marbled & delicious. Around 12. My kid brought home Loki who was being given away by her owner who was moving to Florida & couldn't take her. She is a silver tabby. SIC (standard issue cat) Bipolar. Owner also claimed she found her abandoned outside. Excellent mouser. Smallest of the cats. Around 10. Kili is a Tuxedo. Looks like Lucifer from the classic Disney Cinderella. Her mom was Thor's sister from a later litter. There were like 8 kittens in Kili's batch we kept trying to save but too wild. They all vanished. Fence blew down & the stupid neighbor's huskies turned the mom into a pull toy. Then there was a caterwaul start up in the yard so we contacted the Feral cat people & caught Kili & 2 males & got them all fixed. The kid refused to set Kili free. Kili is so needy. Love starved. Pet her & she doesn't want you to stop. I keep telling her "see what you missed not letting us catch you before?" 2nd best mouser. So like a year younger than Loki. Like 9? Thor's niece. I had a Bombay (Freya) & a white & tan (Lupin) who would sleep like yin/yang. This set of cats? Hell, no. So your bed scenario? Thor & Kili at the foot Illidan on top of me. Loki on my sister, though Illy does bless her with her presence some nights All inside cats. No outside at all. I wish I could get Catarina in but she just hates all the others! Livingroom, diningroom, kitchen:Button, came to me to bottle feed, tiny as a button, a blue-point Siamese mix getting older. Moonshadow, another bottle baby whose siblings got adopted, but I just couldn't let her go, a soft gray tabby, also getting older. Bedroom: Mama Kitty, came to me with 7 tiny kittens, and she was just a young kitty herself. The vet clinic thought they needed my help, with bottle-feeding and supplementing her. She calmed down right away and loved her kittens so much. They were all adopted, through the clinic, but no one wanted Mama Kitty, so I kept her. Good mama kitties need a forever home, too. Willow, another bottle baby that I couldn't give up. Blue point Siamese mix, getting older. Molly Dolly, another single bottle baby that bonded to me. She is still young, and full of energy and is a Tortie, and has "torti-tude". But she is a snuggler. Leo, aka Leonardo Da Vinci, because the artist once said that "The smallest feline is a masterpiece". A rescue when he was a year old. Seal-point Siamese oriental shorthair. He is special. He knows when I am hurt or sad and curls up next to my heart. I refer to it as a 'cat scan'. In my basement is one sweet kitty that has to remain isolated. Marmie, an orange/white mix. She has FeLV. She came to me with two kittens, both of which died, and when the vet thought real hard, suspected FeLeuk, and she tested positive. I couldn't put her down, she was so sweet and not sick at all, so she has her own private apartment with a fluffy bed, heating pad, all the luxuries, and when the weather is pretty, access to an outside cage, so she can be 'out' but safe. She loves watching the birds and my goats when they are out grazing. Right now that access is closed and insulated, but she revels in spring, summer and autumn. That outdoor set up was added to my house years ago, when I had two domestic bunnies. After they passed on, the other cats took possession, but now it is just for Marmie. So, that's my feline crew, there are also two dogs and two goats! I love living in the country! Except during December, January and February. It is cold right now, but I have a woodstove in addition to electric heat. I used to have two horses, but after they passed, of old age, I figured I was too old to be riding and doing heavy barn chores. So when I need a 'fix', I have a friend who has horses, and I can hug them and feed them. What would we do without our companion animals?

makes me think of an olde Peanuts strip.
Lucy saw a butterfly on the sidewalk and went into this long expository on the life and migration habits of butterflies likely from South America.
Then Linus pointed out "Hey, it's just a potato chip."
And she wondered aloud how a potato chip made it's way all the way from South America?
