So around 1 AM Kili comes in & makes that odd meow.
I peek.
Something small & round. Doesn't look like a mouse.

I drop a napkin on it & pick it up.
Hard. Round.
?
I look in the napkin
An alligator lizard.
KILI! NO KILLING LIZARDS!

So I put it in a cup with a lid from my trash thinking horrible thinks about the suffering it must have endured.

An hour later I see it is no longer a hard circle.
Is it alive?
We dropped it off in a canyon & it scurried off.

When I started writing this (I got help later), I imagined Alice Cooper doing a Randy Newman-type ballad. Both the Joker and Hannibal Lecter were much more fascinating than the good guys. Everybody sort of roots for the bad guys in movies

I just know I wasn't rooting for the 'bad guys' until a certain time........... Dexter, maybe. A little bit of Hannibal rooting, perhaps

Namor was created in 1939 attacking the United States for polluting the ocean. He fought Nazis during WWII. 
He has always been on his own people's side.

That would make him a hero to his people. But not to everyday humans  

Just because it's the 'thing' these days to embrace Green, doesn't mean it was in 1939.

Heck, even those that love the Green these days are still often big polluters. I see it all day, every day from people. Especially those with kids.
