Those first 3 words are the primary sentiment.

Some people seem to be surprised that V for Vendetta revolves around a gay man.    It doesn't take away from the story for me at all. But it was handled in such a way that many completely missed it.

There will always be prudes wanting to put people in the town stocks for celebrating Christmas.
